Local Artists Display at the State Capitol

Last year, The Buena Vista Arts Council (BVAC) had the opportunity to hang art on the walls of the General Assembly Building in Richmond, VA outside the office of State Senator Creigh Deeds. This year twelve local artists accepted the opportunity to participate in the display “Buena Vista and her Artists”, including Anna Billias, Wendy Duke, Billy Fitzgerald, Michele Fletcher, Elena Glushkova, Doug Himes, Kristen Jones, Conrad Matiuk, Brenna O’Grady, Jesse Paul, James O. Phelps, Mariam Todd, and Melissa Branin Wheeler. On Arts Advocacy Day, three more artists' work was added. Paul Janiczek, Brendan Corbin and Ben Frey's work completed the display.
