OUR TOWN, A Play by Thornton Wilder
First performed in 1938 and awarded the Pulitzer Prize for Drama, Our Town remains one of the most beloved and frequently produced plays in American history. Wilder's portrayal of a small New England town captures ideals that have long shaped our nation's identity: community, resilience, faith, hard work, and a belief in the dignity of ordinary people.
Set in the fictional town of Grover's Corners, New Hampshire, Our Town follows the Gibbs and Webb families as they navigate childhood, courtship, marriage, and loss.
Guided by the play's iconic Stage Manager, audiences are invited to reflect on the preciousness of human connection and the often overlooked beauty of everyday interactions, a reminder that life's deepest truths are found not in extraordinary events, but in ordinary moments shared with family, friends, and neighbors.

Children who can enjoy a full-length production are welcome; this production is recommended for children over 12. No babes in arms, please.
Please note that our facility does not have wheelchair access and requires climbing at least 12 stairs to enter the theatre. After checking in, please speak with an usher if you need to enter through the door with fewer stairs.
