A Passion for Photography and Philanthropy
In 1964, at the young age of 13, Geoffrey was loaned a camera and 2 rolls of black and white film by the NYC based magazine Popular Photography. Thus began a lifelong hobby that would amass a huge catalog of images from landscapes to cityscapes, and classic and sports cars, which he especially enjoyed. Geoffrey had many of his frameworthy images made into canvas prints which he offered for sale.
Upon his passing, Geoffrey willed all of his photography, both printed and digital, to the Buena Vista Arts Council, in the hopes that the sale of his work would benefit the community. His father had encouraged him to
“At this time I am gifting my photography as a funding effort for The Buena Vista Arts Council that has, for 5
years, had a mission that parallels my own. I offer this with special thanks to Sterling, whom I am honored to
say is a friend, and a man for all seasons. And my wife who has stood by me and brings joy each day.”
