We are looking forward to seeing you at Artaplaooza this year! Here are a few helpful resources to plan your visit:

  • Information booths are located at the south end and the center of the venue. Look for the BVAC logo.
  • Parking is available on surrounding streets and in parking lots off Forest and Sycamore, south of Magnolia and 20th.
  • Volunteers will be helping at most of the art activities and at information booths. If you have specific needs, you can ask a volunteer for help. Volunteers should be wearing purple volunteer buttons.
  • In case of medical emergency, missing children, or other needs, please visit an information booth. General emergency announcements can be made by special arrangement at the performance venue in Magnolia Square.
  • Scheduled Adult Classes are free but have limited capacity. Sign up at the location (next to Jenny Moon Massage, Letter D on the map) to reserve your spot.

Artapalooza is a free, family-friendly street festival! Enjoy complimentary kids’ activities, live entertainment, and a vibrant selection of local food trucks and art vendors.

What happens if it rains the day of Artapalooza?

Artapalooza is a rain-or-shine event in downtown Buena Vista, Virginia. If it rains on April 25, the festival will continue as scheduled, with vendors, live entertainment, and family-friendly activities still taking place along Magnolia Avenue.

How do I apply to be a vendor at Artapalooza?

You can apply to be a vendor by turning in the form online or in person. Check it out on our vendor page.

Are there kids’ activities at Artapalooza?

Yes! There will be six activities that will be free for kids and happening during the entire event. We are also offering something new this year–classes for teens and adults which require a little more fine motor skills. These will be happening at specific times throughout the day.
